1) Off-Site Work
Off-Site work basically means that you can do the tasks anywhere in the world. However, this can involve a lot of travel.

2) Virtual Work
Certain office duties can be done from home. Virtual work, also called transitioned work, is still office sanctioned. Your boss just allows you to work on some of your duties from another location.

3) Telecommute-Only Opportunities
If you like to work in the nude then this option is for you. This is a work from home job at its purest. You do not need to leave the house to go to work…. BRILLIANT!

4) Telecommute Option Work
The important word here is ‘option’. Basically this means you can work from the companies office, but you will also have the option to set up an office from home.
This means you may or may not choose to work at the company’s office. You will be given a choice whether to set up a home office or take the commute to work everyday.

5) Freelance or contract work
Freelance work is one of the most popular types of work. There is no need for an office, you are hired to do a specific task and once you have completed this task you move on to another employer.
