In the modern age of Internet and Web 2.0 there are six marketing techniques you should consider.

Word of Mouth Marketing - Word of mouth marketing is basically the art of getting your audience to talk about your site/product/service.

Buzz Marketing - Buzz marketing is creating some hype or buzz about your product or service that gets picked up by the media and makes a big splash.  This can also be achieved by having a message that is given from numerous sources at the same time.

Blog Branding - Blog branding is blogging about your product or service in an effort to create an open window on your offerings.  Once you have a solid readership you will have an audience that will listen to your message.

Guerrilla Marketing - Guerrilla Marketing is the art of getting a message out about your organisation on a low budget.

Viral Marketing - Viral marketing is creating interesting, entertaining messages that spread exponetially, usually through the web and email, to large numbers of people.

Community Marketing - Building online niche communities and publications that create lasting relationships with and between community members.
