Content is King

You may have already heard this phrase, and I can’t stress how important content is for a web site. Not only does content give your readers a reason to visit your site, it also is a major factor for ranking well in the search engines. If you want to rank for “blue golf shoes” then you are going to have to write about blue golf shoes. But a nonsensical article is not going to suffice. You should aim to write content that is either: Interesting, funny, informative, controversial etc….

By writing quality content you will attract links from related sites, and links are seen as votes by the search engines. But unlike the US presidential elections, votes really do matter in Google. So more links = more votes = online presidency.
